The LHD Academy of Science is aligned with many CDC initiatives to enhance the coordination and collaboration of State and local public health interests in data collection. We are proud to share that many AOS States are funded using a variety of CDC grants including, the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Cooperative Agreement and the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Cooperative Agreement. All of the CDC grants used by States are to help support AOS State Chapters and the local Health Departments in their respective States.
