LHD AoS National Librarian
The Local Health Department Academy of Science (LHD AoS) is excited to announce the development of the National Librarian. This team is being developed to better support states interested in or already participating in the LHD AoS by organizing, curating, and connecting survey tools, data collection practices, and related resources across our national network.
How It Works
The National Librarian provides regular support, training, and coordination to the national network. This work will facilitate conversations around shared software for easy, standardized data collections and coordinate subject matter experts to provide survey design guidance.
What this Means for Participating States: State Librarians can expect increased access to examples of local surveys, improved navigation of existing data resources, and opportunities to contribute to or learn from peers’ survey work.
What’s Next
The LHD AoS National Librarian team and work is currently in development. Stay tuned for updates on how to access resources and feel free to connect with us at info@lhdacademyofscience.org
